Learning cards are a wonderful way to reinforce basic principles, lessons, and skills. The Alphabet Photo Objects set includes 103 cards (2.875" x 3.625" each), including images of objects whose names start with each letter of the alphabet, as well as a resource guide in English. Initial letter sounds include hard and soft "g" and "c" as well as long and short vowels. It is perfect for sorting and classifying activities, early reading skills, and language development. Great for English language learners, it also supports NCTE and NAEYC standards.
We used the Alphabet Sorting Cards to make an Interactive Book. All you need is a pack of Library Pockets, letter stickers and cardstock. Adhere the library pockets to the paper, put a letter sticker on each pocket, we laminated each page and sliced open the tops of the pockets. Make yourself a cute cover, punch and ring it. You are now ready to start sorting the alphabet cards!
