This was a fun little activity.  You will see in the pictures that we used 2 different bottles to make the beads.  The pink Minnie cup had the little devise set right inside of it, while the soda bottle had the devise screwed to the top.  The soda bottle worked much better than the Minnie cup, which we found out when we were almost finished. :)

Place the paper between the little metal rods.  Then start turning the handle.

For a more even bead - you can gently press the back of the paper as you're turning the handle.

Keep turning until the paper is almost to the end.  Then apply the glue with the applicator.

Next, take the paper bead off of the rods.  Roll in back and forth in your fingers a few times to make sure the glue is sticking.  Gently squeeze it so that both sides are even.

Then start stringing the beads and tie together the string to make a bracelet or necklace.

The kids really enjoyed this activity!
